Lee Stafford - For Hair That Doesn't Grow Past A Certain Length

"If the earth is not nourished you'll never grow beautiful flowers"

So pink is not my favourite colour at all, but I don't know what it is about Lee Stafford products that always attracts me. Every time I'm in Boots or Superdrug I can't help but look at the Lee Stafford Pink Range!

If you haven't read, I have been having micro bonds in for a couple of months (read here) but recently had it taken out due to matting etc. Although the micro bonds did help my hair grow as I didn't wash it as much or use straighteners I was still unhappy with the length! I have unrealistic expectation and I literally thought my hair was just going to grow an inch a night! So wasn't long before I was trolling through the internet for "how to make my hair grow faster tips" and although I have been doing a couple of those tips such as not washing my hair as often it was still not growing as fast as I wanted it to and I wanted to give my hair a break from more micro bonds so that is my last resort (I'm very impatient). So when I came across Lee Stafford - for hair that doesn't grow past a certain length, I thought why the hell not! At only £7.99 in Boots it was a bargain compare to most hair masks.

This is what it claims it does:
  • Its vital hair and scalp complex helps to reduce hair loss.
  •  It improves follicle health which in turn increases the ability of the hair to anchor to the scalp.
  • The soothing formulation reduces irritation and moisturises the scalp.
  • It addresses hair and scalp ageing at a cellular level whilst providing an improvement in tensile strength to give body and texture by penetrating the hair reaching the inner cortex
  • Improves feel and volume of hair
How to apply:

The treatment is an inbetween shampooing and conditioning. You would use an "egg size" amount and apply it directly to your roots massage towards your ends. This you would do after you shampoo your hair and you would leave it in for FIVE minutes before rinsing it out and using your normal conditioner afterwards. Now there isn't really a lot to do in the shower for five minutes so there's a lot of standing around.

Lee Stafford recommends that you use this every time you wash your hair until the condition of your hair is better and then use once a week!

My verdict:

Pros: Although it does not make my hair magically grow every time I use it, it has made my hair a better condition! The first time I used it I thought it wouldn't work as my hair didn't feel any different but the more you use it the softer my hair felt. So I guess Lee Stafford is right a well nourished hair makes the hair grow faster!

Cons: Every time I use it I seem to shed a lot more hair than usual, I'm not quite sure why.. But the unclogging of matted hair is not the one! Also it smells weird, I'm not good at describing smells, it smells like if you had your hair perm or permanently straightened but less strong? (See what I mean about bad description!)

I thought I would give it a score! So with my verdict I would give it a 6/10! I'm still in search for hair growing tips, so if you have any send them my way!

Have you tried Lee Stafford's For Hair That Doesn't Grow Past A Certain Length? What did you think?

Nivea In-Shower Body Moisturiser

So this bad boy was in my payday wish list! Let me tell you beauties I love it. I cannot rave about it enough! At first I thought oh its just one of those products that's going to leave me feeling sticky and doesn't actually moisturise me at all. But I was wrong!

This product is a savour! If you have dry skin and you cannot be bothered to moisturise this is the product for you! I am literally so lazy when it comes to moisturising, don't get me wrong I always moisturise my face and hands but body was the last thing on my mind, so when sun started shinning my scaly legs come out to play.

When I saw the advert I thought why not give it a go, at only £3.56 a bottle I just couldn't resist. So the idea of it is to put this on after shower gel, scrub or anything that you do as this doesn't clean you, then you just rinse it off and dry and you are ready to go out! I absolutely love it, I can honestly say I am scale free! I'm not feeling itchy or conscious about my legs and arms!

This is my must have product, it has taken a permanent place in my bathroom! Recently got my second bottle as it was on offer in Tescos! Love it.

What's your must have product?

Recent Purchases

Hello beauties, sorry for the lack of post I have been a bit busy recently then I got ill! Now I am literally working so much! Never thought I would say that.

On with the post, I went out to Milton Keynes a couple of weeks ago and for someone that is trying to save money I did a pretty good job and managed to only get 3 things!! I know, I did well for myself! I thought I would get some summery stuff, really into coral things at the moment so when I came across the shoes I was like I have to get these!

Limited Mark And Spencer - I was forced to go into M&S by my mum and I never thought I would find these shoes! I just absolutely love them I have since purchased another colour in caramel! They are not as high as heels I usually buy so I can wear them during the day with a nice dress! They don't hurt as much as actual high heels! I absolutely love this colour, pops out and it's so summery!

Clinique Chubby Stick in Oversized Orange - I absolutely love my chubby sticks, these are the second one I recently purchased. I love how moisturising they are but they're not too sticky! It's also not too bright or too pigmented either, so it's perfect for when the sun out and it goes nicely with my skin colour! I think I'm too into my corals at the moment as these literally go everywhere with me and when I saw it, it was like love at first sight and only for £16! Bargain.

Clinique Stay Matte Foundation - I recently got the Clinique Perfectly Real foundation and I said it had a bit of a shimmer, now I didn't mind this at first but when the foundation started to wear off the shimmer would still stay and just made me looked extra shinny! So when I got a free sample I decided to get it straight away! Absolutely love it, perfect for the summer. I'm not saying that it stays on all day but it is best for the heat as I don't feel like my make up is just melting off my face.

What are your recent purchases?

Hello fellow bloggers,

As most of you know Google is getting rid of their Google Reader as part of their spring cleaning! Very mixed emotions right now! As Bloglovin has informed me it is very easy to import all your readers to bloglovin! I have literally just done that, and hopefully everyone will do too as I don't want to miss any of my readers! I look forward to reading your post more on the go via bloglovin app!

Superdrug Haul

It's that time of the month again when we get paid! I am trying to save so I thought that I would go on a budget shop to Superdrug! Got a couple of things that I said I was going to buy! So here are my purchases and a short review;

MUA "Undressed" palette - I have heard many raving review about this as this is the dupe version of the Urban Decay "Naked" palette! You cannot complain about this palette, I think you get more than what you paid for! The palette is £4 and you get 12 different shades from your neutral colours to the more darker black colour - the shades are almost matching to the UD naked palette. Only thing is you would have to apply eyeshadow primer just so it stays on a bit longer and I feel that I have to apply quite a lot of it so the colours are a bit bolder! But you cannot complain for £4!!

Barry M "Touch of magic" lip paint - We all know how hard it is to find a good shade that would match you so I thought I would give Barry M "touch of magic" a try! It has absolutely lush black packaging that gives it the classy look! the lipstick is green, waterproof with aloe vera and it is supposed to react to your lips pH and create the perfect shade for your lips! Absolutely unique, if everyone in the world would have this lipstick no-one would have the same shade! I haven't used this much but the time I did I had a bit of a fever so it came out redder than I thought it would! Another positive point it stays on forever, until you take your make up off!!

Nivea in shower moisturiser - So I am really lazy when it comes to moisturising and by lazy I mean really lazy! I wouldn't moisturise until my skin was starting to flake, yes I know that's really bad!! So when this little bad boy came out I was so excited and it is living up to my standards! I have only been using it a week but I can really tell the difference. So you just have a shower using your normal shower gel and rinse off and then apply this and the rinse and dry! It does leave you all silky like in the advert! Only downside is that it does make your shower/bath tub very slippery so do warn family members and it did clog up the drain a bit!

Max Factor Lipfinity in "04" - this is a re-purchases as I loved it so much before I couldn't resist buying it again! You do need a couple of coats for the colour to really pop but for everyday use you only need one of two! What I love the most is how easy it is to apply, we all get into that situation when wearing lipstick and you can't find your lip liner to fill that little bit on the corner the lipstick wouldn't get, that's why I love this product so much is no hassle at all.

Superdrug Deep Cleansing Mud Mask - I have only used this once since I got it but I love it! It also comes in a bottle so there is no hassle of trying to use it all up like the sachet ones that are usually there. It really did leave my skin soft and clear after I used it!

And finally, I know this isn't a Superdrug product but I thought I would  throw it in here too!

Clinique Perfectly Real Make Up - This is my replacement for the superbalanced make up and I love it just the same! I picked up shade 14 (I really don't know why they do not keep shade names the same!!) perfect match to my skin. I think its a bit shimmery, I don't know if anyone else got this as well? It might just be me. It feels so light on your skin but it covers up all the redness and the imperfection. So 10/10 from me!

What are your monthly buys?

Would You Rather - Beauty Edition

I have seen this floating around some blogs and I thought that I would give it a go for a bit of fun! Anyone can join in as I would love you see your answers!

I think that everyone knows the standard rule of would you rather, picking one or the other.. Pretty self explanatory! These are the sets of questions;

Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks, and lipglosses or lose all of your palettes and eyeshadows?
This is an easy answer for me I would definitely lose all of my palettes of eyeshadows! As I rarely wear eyeshadow and I only wear them out I wouldn't mind as much if I lose them! But I look like I haven't showered in months if I don't wear mascara and eyeliner as they just give me a fresher look!

Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again?
Never be able to cut my hair off again! I have been daring the last couple of years and constantly chopping off my hair but every time it comes to summer I'm always gutted that I can't have beachy hair! Also longer hair in my opinion is easier to manage ( my hair is naturally straight so I don't need to do anything to it!) but if its short I have to style it etc.

Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?
Coral all the way! Pink makes me look weird!

If you had £1000 to spend, Would you rather buy clothes or makeup?
Clothes! I have a lot of make-up and I have never finished make-up so I would spend it all on clothes instead! Don't get me wrong I love make-up but I just need the clothes!

Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner, or eyeliner as lipstick?
Oh my! I wouldn't do either but if I had to choose it would be applying eyeliner as lipstick, not only is it easier but you can get nice dark colours as well! Imagine trying to use lipstick on your eyes!!
Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora?
We don't have a Sephora in England *sobs* but I definitely would shop in Sephora, I don't think I can just have MAC items!

Would you rather only use one eyeshadow color or one lip color for the rest of your life?
One eye colour! I don't wear a lot of eyeshadow anyways so this was a bit of an easy one for me! The eyeshadow I wear I tend do stay with that shade anyways.

Would you rather wear winter clothes in summer or summer clothes in winter?
Winter clothes in the summer! We barely get a summer in the UK, so I am always cold and looking out for a good wooly jumper!

Would you rather dark nails or bright nails all year round?
Dark nails! I think dark nails suits me better. Other than nudes I don't tend to wear any lighter shade.

Would you rather give up your favorite lip product or your favorite eye product?
Ohhh favourite lip product! I know I said I don't wear a lot of eyeshadows but I love my eyeliners and mascara. So I will have to give up the lippies! Most of the time I don't wear lipstick anyways and plus eyeliner and mascara makes me look fresh.

Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a pony tail or a messy bun?
Messy bun all the way! You can wear a messy bun out and still look sophisticated.

Would your rather never being able to paint your nails again or never use lipgloss?
Never use lipgloss! I don't wear lipgloss since I had an allergic reaction to a lipgloss! it was a long time ago but it has put me off it since then.

Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have none at all? or sharpie them in everyday?
Sharpie them in everyday!! imagine having no eyebrows! I used to have really thin eyebrows but now I am very appreciative of my good eyebrows!!

Would you rather live without makeup or nail polish?
100% without nail polish! I don't have to paint my nails but if I don't wear makeup it literally looks like I haven't showered!

I would love to see your answers, comment if you decide to do a "would you rather"

Payday Wishlist

(Images from Google, edited by me)

As we all know payday is coming up and I am so excited! I have been so skint this month that I am literally dribbling over so many beauty products cause I just want it all! This wish list are the main items that I want to get as soon as I get paid.

1. Clinique perfectly real makeup - I'm running out of my Clinique foundation and this was the other that was recommended by the lady at the counter. I was thinking of swapping for a different brand but I thought why? When a product suits my skin I shall not risk it with other brands right? Skin is so important to me.. It takes over night to break out, but it takes what feels like forever for my skin to recover!

2. MAC fix+ spray - I will get this in the travel size just to test it out first, costing £7.50. I have seen this product on a few blog, you are meant to apply it after you finish your make-up. Some blogs says that it makes you make-up stay longer during the day and give it a dewy finish! So I cannot wait to try this out!

3. MUA undress me palette -  this is meant to be a dupe for the Urban Decay Naked palette. Since the UD is quite expensive, I decided to give the MUA a try costing £4! I thought why not! I reckon this is going to be one of the best purchase, it has got colours you can use during the day and darker ones for going out! Perfect.

I'm pretty sure that I will buy more products once I go shopping, but making a wishlist will keep me in track. I'm such an unorganised buyer!!

What's on your payday wishlist?

Benefit - They're Real Mascara

There is no doubt about it that Benefit They're Real Mascara has been around many beauty blogs and there has been mixed reviews, so I was 50/50 on buying them. Benefit never really suited me but the ones who agreed with it raved about it so when Elle was handing out the mascara as a freebie I was right in there.

Elle Magazine issued the travel size of the "They're Real Mascara" the original size costing a whooping £19.50 from Boots and Benefit. Now there is nothing I hate more than spending money on something that will not suit me, especially with the mixed review I was a bit sceptical.

According to Benefit the They're Real mascara should; lengthens, curls, volumizes, lifts & separates. Our jet black, long-wearing formula won’t smudge or dry out. A specially designed brush reveals lashes you never knew you had!

(Image from Google)

So these are my thoughts on Benefit They're Real;

I absolutely love the brush, plastic brushes are better as they do not clump the eyelashes. When first applied it instantly lengthened my eyelashes and separated them out just as Benefit stated. It also stayed on through the day and didn't flake off creating that panda eyes look! They were easy enough to remove with make-up remover! Although it did not provide me with the volume I wanted, even after a few coats it still didn't give me that wow factor.

With that in mind I was a bit disappointed, I know that this was the only factor that Benefit did not achieve but if I was going to spend £19.50 it wouldn't be on this mascara. Sorry guys.

Unfortunately I didn't have time to do some before and after pictures as I was babysitting! Again sorry!

So I will be sticking with my current mascara! Have you tried Benefit's They're Real? What did you think?

Seven Deadly Sins Tag

(Image from Google, edited by me)
I have been tagged by Elle on the Seven Deadly Sins Tag! You can tag anyone and join in at any time! Just a bit of blogging fun! Here are the questions and my reply;

1. GREED: What is your most expensive beauty item?
Probably my Clinique foundation!

2. WRATH: Which beauty item do you have a love/hate relationship with?
Definitely primers, they just cause break out but I love how they make my skin look!

3. GLUTTONY: What brand makes up the biggest chunk of your make up collection?
I swap brands quiet a lot, but it would be powder. I'm pretty sure I have an unlimited amount of powders but I can't stop buying them!!

4. SLOTH: What product do you neglect to use due to laziness?
Moisturising! I have loads of moisturiser but I don't moisturise until I need to. When my skin literally screaming I'M DEHYDRATED!

5. PRIDE: Which beauty product gives you the most confidence?
Eyeliner! I cannot go on without my liquid eyeliner. They just make my eyes look bolder and bigger. So I look fresh.. you know?

6. LUST: Which item is at the top of your beauty wish list?
ANY Clinique products! I am such a fan of Clinique, I'm hoping to try out the new CC cream when I get paid!

7. ENVY: What make up product / look looks great on others but not on yourself?

Coloured eyeshadow! I only suit brown, any other colour I would look like an idiot. You will see me and say, what was she thinking?!

Here are a couple of people I have tagged:

Spring Cleaning My Wardrobe

I don't know about everyone else but I am a complete hoarder when it comes to clothes. I just hate getting rid of clothes, but I know I have to since I'm moving out.

(this is one of my wardrobes)
I am constantly buying clothes but I never throw out the old ones. Thinking one day I will come back to it or wear it again. It has come to that point where my wardrobe is overflowing and it is literally breaking my wardrobe down. Especially the drawers where I am desperately trying to fit everything in!

The only time I would tidy my wardrobe is just to put away my winter clothes, so if you are like me, here are some tips on spring cleaning the wardrobe.

1. Be ruthless - don't think that you are going to wear it again or you will need it! If you haven't worn it in years put it in that charity bag!

2. Do not go through the stuff you have thrown away!

3. When it comes to spring cleaning do it with the right set of mind, don't stop half way.

4. Organise! I'm an organised hoarder if you put things into different piles and in different drawers you will know if you need something.

5. My favourite part, once organised you will know if you need to buy something new!

I usually make a wish list of what I want but seems like I am not that organised when it comes to making list! I am excited to do a big shop after pay day- yes I am skint already!!

Are you a hoarder? What are you tips for spring cleaning?

Kate Moss Matte 107 Lipstick

Hello lovelies, I cannot believe it's Sunday already! Yesterday I went to Boots and I couldn't resist buying the Kate Moss Matte lipstick range. Now I never usually go for matte lipstick as I think it dries out my lips then show off the flaws, but I was a bit daring and I thought why not!

I picked shade 107, which is a dark red with hints of violet. I never usually go for red lipstick but I recently been drawn to red lipstick! I absolutely love this lipstick, it's deep, bold and the colour lasts (I drank tea and had soup) just how I love it. I hate it when I have to keep re-applying lipstick especially on nights out!

Although I wouldn't say that this lipstick keeps my lips moisturised but it doesn't dry it out either- so it's just perfect in between! When I first applied it, it gave off a fruity smell, I didn't expect it as most lipstick got that lipstick smell, but this one was just nice, different.

I cannot rave enough about this lipstick, I love it! I will definitely be adding a few more to my collection! Here are some "selfies" of me!

Have you tried Kate Moss Matte Lipstick collection? What did you think?

Everyday Face Make-up

I have seen a couple of the "everyday face make-up" I thought I would do one too!

Face: Clinique superbalanced foundation and Clinique superpowder
Eyes: 2true eyeliner and Max Factor Clump Defy Mascara
Eyebrows: BeautyUK eyebrows pencil and Gosh eyebrows gel
Lips: vaseline

This is what my face looks like pretty much all the time, when I go to uni, work and doing every day stuff! I don't believe in caking my face on during the day because then I wouldn't have a different look when I go out at night!

Before I apply my foundation I use Clinique facewash, toner and moisturiser. I love my Clinique superbalance foundation because it doesn't make my face oily therefore I don't need to use primer! I recently went for a darker eyebrows pencil as well since my eyebrows are growing out! I don't tend to change my day face, maybe I will do a night out face!

What's your daily make-up like?

Favourite Social Media

Hi guys, I'm catching up on yesterday's BEDM which was favourite social media! So with that topic in mind, my favourite is twitter!

I just love how you can interact with other people so easily and write about small things that doesn't even matter because that is what you do on twitter! If you do that on facebook you get a lot of people scrolling through saying "who cares?" right? Right.

There is always the facebook faux-pas, posting something personal, but if someone comments on it, it's literally "none of your business" when its on a social media! Really grinds my gears!!

That's why I love twitter, you can post anything at any time! With Instagram coming close second!

Twitter is my favourite social media, what's yours?

HD Brows

I was a bit sceptical when I first got my HD brows because I was scared that I was going to look like I had “slugs” on my forehead! I used to be a tweezer addict, I literally would just tweeze my eyebrows every night, I didn’t need to but I felt like I had to.

One day after bad waxing, I accidently waxed a bit of my eyebrows off. That was when I decided to get a consultant at my local HD brows shop – Amita Patel. Few of my friends recommended it and I’ve seen their eyebrows as they looked good I decided why not?

I met a lady called Sejal and she pretty much told me not to touch my eyebrows for at least two weeks, it was hard but I got through it. You need to get past a week and a half and then you just think well my eyebrows are too hairy to tweeze and I cannot be bothered.

You can't see much of a difference from the first and second picture, but in the second picture my eyebrows are longer and the arch is more natural. I have had two treatments so far and let me tell you I do not regret it one bit! I do recommend that you go to a proper place to get HD brows done. I pay £30 every time but it’s worth the price. After my first treatment I went out to buy an eyebrow pallet by MUA (I will review this later). These just helped me fill out my eyebrows whilst it was still growing out. Now I’m the stage where I just get a tidy and I don’t even have to use the pallet. I get my eyebrows done once a month now! This took me two months to get my eyebrows to the stage it’s at, but it may take longer for some people!

There are 7 steps to achieve HD brows;

  1. The initial consultant - involves skin test
  2. Tinting
  3. Waxing - to create the shape
  4. Trimming
  5. Threading
  6. Tweezing
  7. Finish - soothing lotion is used

my eyebrows currently
As you can see my eyebrows are definately HD and more defined. A lot better than what it was before I had my first treatment.

Have you tried HD brows? What did you think?

My First Job

Today's BEDM is first job!

Me and Adam - Uni theme night
My first job was as a lifeguard at a leisure centre that I am currently still working at! Me and my best friend did our course in a week, it was a £200 course, but I made the money back within a month plus profit! But let me tell you it’s not all that glammed up as you think! No Baywatch running and hardly any abs to stare at! Just a lot of moany people coming for a swim!

The worst experience was when I had to pick up a used tampon... Yes that is right used and left in one of the changing cubicles! I just think you wouldn’t do that at home, why would you do it in a public place?!

I had that constant smell of chlorine lingering around me, the bonus was that the outdoor pool during the summer, you get to tan whilst you work and there are more people to work with so it’s always different. And I got to use my uniform for a themed night out!

Closing the outdoor pool
I wouldn’t do my lifeguard course again... although if you are looking to be a lifeguard just realise that it’s not Baywatch!

That’s my first job! What was yours?

What's In My Bag!

I recently did “what’s in my make-up bag: the handbag edition” and I decided to do what’s in my handbag! I think it's a great way to get to know someone by the things they carry around everyday! If you have seen my previous post I recently got a new bag from Next and I love my new bag, it’s so spacious but I am hoping that I do not get into old habits and trying to carry everything in my bag!

The bag itself is quiet big, but it’s not heavy like most big bags. It has three compartments and the middle one is the biggest one. I’m gutted that it doesn’t fit my laptop in it though. But I am hoping to get a new tablet!

You can see what’s in my make-up bag here! These are the things I carry around for retouching through-out the day!
My purse- “Hana” from Sogo Indonesia, I got this originally as it matched my Bonia bag but I haven’t had the chance to buy a new purse! This one is light so it doesn’t weigh my bag down.
Vaseline- My must carry! I take my Vaseline tin everywhere I go. I am a lip balm junkie so I have a few tins lying about to keep my lips moisturised
Vaseline hand moisturiser- From the winter I get really dry skin so I carry this with me always!
Phone charger, USB stick and headphones
Hair brush and comb
Time sheet and pen, every bag should have a pen, who knows when you need to write something important down!
Calculator – I used to study accounting so the calculator now lives in my bag.
Paracetamol and Blistex- I got new flats recently and they rub so these are my just incase!

This seems like a lot but compare to my old bags, I used to have the whole of my make-up bag and nail polish and some rubbish/food. So I have been very good with this bag!

I would love to see what's in your bag! Are you a hoarder and carry everything around? Or are you a small bag chick?

Pets

Today’s BEDM topic is Pets. I was never allowed pets since I killed the goldfish when I was like 6!! From then on my mum said I was too irresponsible for pets!

I then wanted a cat, I literally cried for one (I was still like 8) and didn’t understand why I wasn’t allowed! Turns out I have really bad allergies to cat and it makes it hard for me to breath and other allergies stuff!

So then my boyfriend and I got ourselves some fancy goldfish! Yes they are still alive. We got them about a year ago and they are still going strong. Here are our little babies! Well not so little anymore. We’ve called them Salmon, Cherrub and Strawbs (I was obsessed with those Haribo’s strawberry sweets...)

They stay at my boyfriend’s house because he cleans the tank and that! Maybe in a couple of years’ time I want to get a puppy! I’m not sure what breed yet; I want a dog that stays small!

That’s my pets, do you have any pets?

Bank Holiday Fun

Today's BEDM topic is Bank Holiday Fun!

I think I'm the only person who thinks that a bank holiday is like any other weekend, except everyone goes crazy. I usually have Monday's off and I work every other Sunday, but I decided to pick up the extra shift for some money when I go to Indonesia! On Sunday I worked and today I am also working 5-10!

I went out on the Saturday and took drunk people home and then I had my neice last night and she threw up all over me. So this weekend has been filled with self inflected sick and general ill-ness! I cooked fajitas and my friend made dessert! Absolutely lush! This is the chocolate cheesecake she made, she also made a lemon one!!

Now I am just waiting to go to work whilst watching some NCIS. It's literally been a busy weekend, lets just say kids are a lot of work!

What did you get up to on your bank holiday weekend?

Keeping Fit and Healthy

Sorry for the late post! I've been at work today and only just got in! So today's topic is keeping fit and healthy.

Now I am definitely not fit or healthy! Although this year I am determined to get fit. I get the gym and classes for free at my work, although I get put off cause I know everyone there. So instead I am doing these exercises at home. I try to do this at least once a day and I'm going to start walking with my mum to build up stamina!

In terms of healthy, I am the worst. I just love junk food too much and I know I shouldn't but I literally cannot help myself! I have been doing very well recently like eating my vegetables but I'm very fussy when it comes to food. This one is a challenge for me!

What do you do to keep fit and healthy?

Garnier BB cream

Just a quick post before I go out tonight. I used to use BB creams before I found the perfect foundation and after having the Witch BB cream, I saw the advert for the Garnier BB cream so I decided to try it out. I got the medium shade of Garnier BB cream since it was a bit lighter and there wasn’t a darker shade I combined it with my MAC powder which blended perfectly with my skin tone.

The Garnier BB cream is a thick-ish liquid, it brightens your face and evens out your skin tone and it keeps your skin hydrated.

Here is what I think of the Garnier BB cream;
  • ·   It’s great for everyday use; it has a mild coverage, if you suffer from break outs this isn’t something for you to use. If you have an almost flawless skin and would just like to even out your skin tone I would recommend this for you.
  • ·   The liquid is not too thick so it was just right for my skin. As it kept it hydrated but it didn’t make it look oily
  • ·    It stays on for pretty long about 6-8 hours.
  • ·    There is only two shade, light and medium which is the downside of the Garnier BB cream

I would definitely recommend the Garnier BB cream, if you have an almost flawless skin as it gives mild coverage. I do blend it with my MAC powder which gives me a fuller coverage. I used it for everyday use as it gives me a natural finish. Although the shades didn’t really match me as I had to blend it with my powder.

Sorry I only had the one picture and I didn't have any of my face. I started this blog after I ran out of the BB cream and started using the foundation.

Have you tried any BB creams? The Garnier BB cream is available in your local Boots or Superdrug for £7.49 (on offer)
