#BEDM - Day 2.

This is the perfect subject for today as the sun is out! I feel like spring came a bit late this year since it was still snowing in March! But finally we are starting to see a bit more sun which mean I can start to put away my winter clothes and get out my summer ones!

Although spring has never been my favourite, I am glad that its getting warmer and since I have finished all my exams this year's spring is going to be the best one yet.

Although spring has never been my favourite, I am glad that it’s finally gettingwarmer and since I have finished all my exams, this year's spring is going tobe the best one yet even if all my friends are still doing exams.

Thisyear I have set goals for myself for the summer, one that fails every year isto get fit but this year I am determined. I’ve even bought myself an exercise matso I am hoping this will motivate me more!

Let’ssee what the spring will bring, but I am definitely a summer girl

Blogging Everyday in May.

I have decided to take up the challenge created by Elizabeth from Rosalilium, find out more here.

Since I have just started this blog, I thought this challenge would be a great way to get my blog going and meet new people. I often get distracted so I thought this would be a great way for me to get creative; also there is a topic a day so you can never run out of things to write!

Onto my five lines, I think I’m quite excited to go back to University! I took 2 years out to qualify as an accountant (boring) and now I am off again to finish my Management Degree. I’m very excited that it’s getting warmer, summer is definitely my favourite season, I love wearing summer clothes rather than feeling cooped up in a massive coat and I am looking forward to going on another holiday to Indonesia. Woo!

Micro Bond Hair Extensions!

Hello lovelies, hope all is well.

This year when I went on holiday to Indonesia, I decided it was a good idea to get micro bonds put in as it was a lot cheaper out there. All my hair came up to a total of £50 this was 8 packs of 10 and my auntie was a hairdresser so I was lucky there and she put them on for me for free!

So it was when I was in year 12 my hair was just above my waist and then I decided to cut off all my hair into a bob, yes very daring! At first I loved it and then it grew back slowly to its longest just over my collarbone. My friend had an assessment for Tony and Guy and he asked me if he could cut my hair and I thought why not?! It was short before and it's only hair! Of course I loved it at first but around December I just wanted my hair to grow. Being the impatient person that I am I have tried caffeine shampoo, putting my hair up, not washing my hair as much and trying not to expose it to heat, pretty much all advice on hair growth and it still took forever to grow - yes I know that it takes time for hair to grow but I am very impatient!

Enough of my hair histories, so usually clip in extensions are my choice and the micro bonds are the first semi-permanent hair extensions I have had. I have read some horrific reviews about matting, hair loss and damage to the hair, but this did not stop me as my impatient-ness got the better of me. To be honest with everyone, I have not had a problem with them at all; I think people didn't take care of their hair properly which caused the matting and damage. Sometimes the hairs do fall out but they are easy to apply back on. You do have be careful with the brushing so they don't pull on the roots that's how hair tends to fall out.

I have had them in for over a month and a half and I will be replacing them when it comes to 3 months! I do recommend them as they are better than clip ins, with clip ins I tend to get lazy and just can't be bothered to clip it in, then I regret it later during the day! You do have to take good care with the hair, brushing, and conditioning and be careful when you are washing your hair and make sure the roots are dried properly so it doesn't cause matting!

Sorry for the long post, here are some before and after pictures!

HRI Clear Complexion Tablets

(not my picture)
Hello beauties, I hope you are all having a good Monday.

When I was about 15 I started breaking out, my skin was completely fine before then but then my skin just went crazy.

And like everyone else I was so impatient, I just wanted my spots to go away over night, this was almost impossible because it was one of those deep spots so they needed to come out! I was so upset and I knew I had to cut down on the foundation and the powder as well, so it's not like I could hide it either!

I then came across the HRI Clear Complexion tablets, this literally saved me from my spots. Now they didn't disappear over night, but they did come out a lot quicker so it meant I could get rid of my spots quicker.

I took 1 tablet 3 times a day, before I went to school, when I got in and before I went to sleep. There was 50 tablets in the bottle and when I finished it all my spots were gone! I got the tablets from Holland and Barrett click here to view currently on offer for £4.19. Now I think this is a bargain and it cleared up my skin in just over 2 weeks!

If you have skin problem, I would definitely give these a try, also cut down on the foundation/powder to let your skin breath, this would also help with the process!

Lots of love

Clinique Superbalanced Foundation

 photo image-8.jpg

Hello lovelies, hope you are all having a good weekend, can't believe it's Sunday already, where has the weekend gone? So I have been helping out at the swimathon this weekend and I am feeling very charitable!

I know I have recently reviewed the Clinique three step, and I thought I would add this to my Clinique collection. The Superbalanced make-up.

Why I love this foundation compare to the rest is simply because it doesn't dry out my skin or make it look greasy like some foundation has done in the past. It has taken me a while to find a foundation to suit me and since none of the high street brands did any good to my skin I though I should splurge something a bit more expensive. The bottle was £24 and it has lasted me since December!

When I put on this foundation it doesn't make me look cakey at all, makes me look natural and looks like I am not even wearing foundation - girls I know this is what most of you want! I don't have to use a lot and it still gives me great coverage. If I was going out I would apply a bit more so it gives me that going out look!

The only downside about this foundation is the bottle, as you can see from the image I have to pour the foundation out and then I have to scrape it all back in if I've poured out too much! Bit of a hassle when you are in a rush.

This is definitely the best £24 I have ever spent, no regrets.

Have you tried the superbalanced foundation by Clinique?
What do you think?

Sanctuary Spa - Body Moisture Spray

 photo image-4.jpg

Hello lovelies, I hope you are all having a good weekend! This sun didn’t stay for very long did it?!

Anyway, I recently went on holiday to Indonesia it was nice and hot and when I came back, snow! That’s right snowing for the whole week and of course my skin just completely dried out! This is when I saw the advert for the Garnier Body Ultimate Beauty Oil, so since I was going out to buy my boyfriend’s sister her birthday present I set out to treat myself in hope that my dry skin problem will go away!

So I went into Boots and this is when I saw the offer for the Sanctuary Spa Moisture spray, 3 for 2 and I just couldn't resist. The bottle is £7.50 on its own just a bit more than the Garnier spray. I have only just started using this recently and I love it. It smells nice and does what it says locking in the moisture. The only downside is you have to use it whilst your skin is still damp, so to make things easy I have left the spray in the bathroom. Although I am left feeling a bit oily, since I get ready with just a top on this wasn't a problem for me as by the time I put jeans on the oil has been absorbed!

The other thing I absolutely love about this is that it’s not time consuming, I find that putting on body lotion takes a lot of your time as I work early morning this saves me a lot of time. So if you are trying to find something quick and moisturises your body I would recommend this for you.
That’s all for now, I hope you are all having a fantastic weekend

Clinque, three step

 photo 8149359_fpx.jpg
(not my picture)
So I got this for a Christmas present, it was one of those pre-picked Christmas present from my boyfriend’s family.  I went to John Lewis with the intention of buying new foundation and I got this too so my boyfriend said his parents will get it for me for Christmas.

I recommend that you do consult someone when you get this, according to Clinique I’m a skin type 2 which is a combination between oily and dry skin. So consultant, she asked me general questions about skin care, if I break out and what my skin was like in general. You have to be honest to get the best results.

After I opened it I was so excited to use it, I started the next day. So you would start in the morning, you wash your face with either the soap or the liquid soap, I got the liquid soap, again you should ask the consultant what would be best for your skin, but as I got a set I got the liquid soap. After I get a cotton wool or pad and just literally put a bit of the cleanser and go around my face with it and then you would apply the moisturiser. The same at night take your make up off as you do and wash your face and then cleanse. I never used to do this, but the wash cleans your face and the cleanser takes away all the dead skin from the wash, leaving you feeling so smooth and clean!

At first few spots did pop out, this was in most of the reviews I read, but since I didn’t really cleanse my face as religiously as I do now all my pores just opened up and few spots popped out. After a couple of weeks you can really tell the difference, my face didn’t feel so oily, as I get oily t-zone I used to constantly look shinny and now I don’t have a shiny face. I do on the occasion, if I fall asleep during the day I do usually just get greasy and sweaty anyways, nice I know! But now I am loving my skin, it was such a pain having oily t-zone but thanks to Clinique I now don’t have this problem.

I would definitely recommend this to everyone, I would start with the tester pack the 3 step for £20 and see if it suits you first. I have recently treated myself to the standard sizes, the face wash was £15 and the cleanser was £16. I know it’s a bit pricey but they do last a while, which is also a good thing!

Anyways that’s all for now
